Pacific Coast Dream Machines is Half Moon Bay California's festival of magnificent machines and "The Coolest Show on Earth", this year marking our 30th annual event on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Half Moon Bay Airport.

What is Pacific Coast Dream Machines?
Get ready for a world of wonder at the Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show, a uniquely spectacular showcase of motorized mechanical marvels from throughout the 20th and 21st centuries. “The Coolest Show On Earth” features a mesmerizing array of more than 2,000 ultra cool antique, vintage, classic, custom and exotic machines of all kinds on display for public viewing. Automobiles ranging from hot rods, dragsters, customs, low riders, imports, street machines and muscle cars to fanciful touring, luxury, and sports cars; also exceptional vintage warbirds, classics from the ‘40s and ‘50s and homebuilt aircraft, tricked out trucks and motorcycles, military and SWAT vehicles, a special display of vintage police cars, super sleek streamliners, model-T fire engines, antique engines, tractors and logging equipment from Roots of Motive Power and Early Days Gas Engine & Tractor Society, helicopter rides, B-17 and P-51D rides, custom bicycles, kinetic art, rolling sculptures, extreme toys, mega-modified machines, advanced “green” technology vehicles, a special display of nostalgia dragsters to honor the former Half Moon Bay Drag Strip, military half-track rides, unimotorcycle drag races, Bob Senz’ Big Cacklefest – a mass synchronized firing-up of the engines (10am, 12pm, 2pm).
Plans for this year's show include a special new "Machines of Tomorrow" a brand-new showcase of the next-generation of vehicular technology with headliner Alef. Alef is a California-based sustainable electric transportation company developing a first real flying car, a road-legal passenger car capable of achieving vertical takeoff and forward flight.
The Erickson Collection's awe-inspiring military aircraft including their B-17 Bomber "Ye Olde Pub", The Flying Fortress of the Skies and their classic North American P-51D Mustang Fighter, regarded as one of the great success stories of military aviation history. "World-Class Woodies", a big display by the Antique and Classic Boating Society of Northern California. See antique and classic boats from the polished mahogany runabouts made from the ‘20s through the ‘60s to the classic fiberglass boats that changed the face of pleasure boating.
"Magnificent Military Vehicles", a big display by American Armory Museum including a Jeep that was used by General Patton, a replica of a World War II missile Jeep, a replica of General Patton‘s command car, a military M916 trailer and a Half-track that served in both World War II and the Israel Six-Day War. Rides will be available on the Half-track for $15 per person.
A special display by Niles Railway Museum, Pacific Locomotive Association and Bay Area Garden Railway Museum with antique railway artifacts and machinery with everything from a "live steamers"; traveling exhibit to a hand railcar, velocipede and speeder car.
6-time World Champion Brendan Murry‘s AA/Fuel Dragster will be part of the "World Record Wonderland" and the planned special display of nostalgia dragsters to honor the legendary old Half Moon Bay Dragstrip.
The Pacific Bus Museum will be displaying one of its restored, vintage, one-of-a-kind buses. The museum’s mission is the preservation, restoration, operation and display of buses representing various eras of bus travel.
Specialized Helicopters will be offering spine-tingling R-44 helicopter ridesstrong> with breathtaking views of the Bay. Rides and $50 per person for a 10-minute ride. Each helicopter seats three passengers.
Plus super-thrilling bungee jumping, waterballerz, climbing wall, and tons of amusements in the "Greasemonkey Kids Funzone, fabulous food and drink with craft beer, premium wine and custom cocktails, and stellar live music all day –– to benefit the Coastside Adult Day Health Center.

When is the event?
The show is open to the public on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 10 am to 4 pm. Gates open at 6:30 am for those that have registered their machine or plan to register the day of show.
Where is the event?
Half Moon Bay Airport, 9850 N. Cabrillo Highway, Half Moon Bay CA 94019 – located on Highway 1, about 20 miles south of San Francisco and 5 miles north of Highway 92. Get directions.
Are pets allowed?
NO PETS, PLEASE. Please be considerate. For the safety, comfort, and courtesy of your pets and festival-goers, please leave your pets at home (with the exception of service animals). Large crowds and noise make it a very stressful and dangerous environment for pets.
What is not permitted at the event?
For the safety and comfort of all of our customers, weapons of any type, booming sound systems, pets (with the exception of service animals), cans and glass bottles are NOT PERMITTED within the gates of the event. No outside BBQ's allowed within the gates of the event. No outside alcohol allowed within the gates of the event.
Where is event parking?

Are personal conveyances allowed?
No personal golf carts or motorized conveyances are permitted at the event. Exceptions will be made for disabled participants with single-person conveyances only. The use of motorized carts, mini-bikes, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, and roller/inline skates is not permitted within the gates of the event.
