Thrilling Aircraft Rides
Get ready for the ride of your life and an experience you will never forget! Thrilling rides will be available in a P-51D Mustang, a B-17 Bomber, and an R-44 Helicopter at this year's Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show, Sunday, April 30 at Half Moon Bay Airport. Rides are provided by independent operators.
P-51D Mustang
The general public and media are encouraged to come visit and fly in the most recognized fighter aircraft of World War II, a P-51 Mustang. Erickson Museum will be offering flight experiences in this historic aircraft. The airplane can accommodate 1 passenger per 20-minute air-time flight. Cost is $2,300 per flight. B-17 Bomber
Erickson Museum will be offering flight experiences in the historically famous B-17 Bomber "Ye Olde Pub", the Flying Fortress of the skies. The airplane will be able to accommodate up to 9 passengers per 20-minute air-time flight. Cost is $525 per passenger. Specialized Helicopters
Enjoy a breathtaking helicopter ride from Specialized Helicopters. Choose from one of two extraordinary flights. One flight will take off towards the north, where you will fly over the beautiful Montara Beach and back down towards Miramar Beach, then to the airport. The other flight will take you south towards Frenchman's Creek, in view of the legendary Ritz-Carlton and its famous golf course, then back to the airport. Rides cost $50 per person for a 12-minute ride. Each helicopter seats three passengers.
